The Starlight Casino Edmonton

Opening December 1st

The Starlight Casino, Edmonton is scheduled to open fall 2016 after it undergone a $45 million refurbishment and a re-branding of the well known Palace Casino on the same location. The opening is to follow the Gateway's $32 million re-development and expansion of a nearby sister casino, Baccarat's evolution to the Grand Villa Edmonton, which is next to the Rogers Place arena.

Starlight Casino, Edmonton will be offering 115,000 sq ft of gaming space, this expanded gaming floor will be featuring 850 slot machines and 34 table games.

As well as he gaming expansion, the food halls have also expanded as well as a supper club that has live entertainment, dining and dancing, a public house, a Match Eatery, and an Atlas Steak and Fish restaurant.

Gaming expected to be offered are Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Slot machines, 3 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Pai Gow, The casino will be open 24/7, Parking and Valet Parking will be offered.

The Cherokee Casino Grove

Due to be opened December 1st

The Cherokee Casino Grove broke ground in April 2016. the facility the complex is sited on 24-acres near to the intersection of Highway 59 and East 250 Road, this is locally referred to as Tom Cat Corner.

This will be the tenth Casino for owners, Cherokee Nation Entertainment, LLC. The tribe currently owns casinos in Fort Gibson, Roland, Ramona, South Coffeyville, Sallisaw, West Siloam Springs, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Tahlequah, and Will Rogers Downs.

The new facility is expected to have 400 gaming machines, a restaurant with a full-service bar. Live music venue and dance floor where patrons can enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic drinks.

Their gaming facility will feature: Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Slot machines, The casino will be open 24/7, an offers patrons Parking and Valet Parking, Native Casino.

The Suffolk OTB Islandia Casino

Opening on December 1st

The Suffolk OTB Islandia Casino will open their doors at the Islandia Marriott Long Island hotel which is situated along the Long Island Expressway, North Service Rd, Islandia, New York. Previously, the Suffolk OTB planned on constructing a casino on the former Showcase Cinemas property in Medford, but local residents together with a group of civic organizations filed a lawsuit which stopped construction.

After negotiations the Islandia village board unanimously gave approval for the Suffolk OTB's construction of a slots parlor at the Islandia Marriott Hotel. This will be the first casino in Islandia. The approval allows for the Suffolk OTB to operate up to one thousand VLTs (Video Lottery Terminals), the Suffolk OTB simulcasts plus two Suffolk Off-Track betting kiosks.

The hotel offers guests 279 guest-rooms which feature modern amenities like air-conditioning, indoor pool, a fitness center, and convention canter covering a floor area of 18,656sq/ft. Other features will be an elegant restaurant and bar, known as, the Bistro Fifty-Eight which will serve American cuisine and a large variety of liquid refreshments.

The Suffolk OBT will features: Off-track betting, Racebook, Simulcasting, Slot machines, Dining and Entertainment, it will be open 24/7, accommodation and Parking available.

The Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino

Opening December 3rd

The Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino is sited next to Allure Las Vegas on the West Sahara. This is the first casino resort in the city that will be designed and built from the ground up. The Casino wil be offering an authentic Asian experience of culture and gaming. All of the staff will be multi-lingual with Chinese and English signage, guests will be able to enjoy a unique Las Vegas experience.

No expense is being spared to create a world class destination from the team that created some of the most sought after casino in the world.

The $373 million casino will feature 27,500 sq ft of gaming space and the adjacent hotel will have nine stories of 206 rooms, 24 will be suites.

Diners can look forward to a variety of food offerings from upscale fine dining venues that offer authentic Chinese food, from the north and south, a high-end dim sum, some quick and easy noodle bars, tea rooms that will have traditional herbal remedies and comestibles. An added feature is the casino offering the only show kitchen in Las Vegas, and guests can view from the casino floor.

A retail area will be offer traditional Chinese medicines, tea sets, branded souvenir items, some interesting and unique Asian artifacts, jewelry plus trending fashions from throughout Asia.
