A New Era In Sports Gambling

Just recently, the Supreme Court ruled in dramatic fashion to fully legalize sports betting. In this surprise move, all the mainland American states can lift the restrictions for sports betting. Currently, New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware and Mississippi already have infrastructure in place, but now they have the green light to go even further. It is expected that large and liberal states, like California, New York, Illinois and Michigan will also join in the sports betting fray, and currently have bills pertaining to sports betting in the cue. In all likely hood, these states won’t probably make a new ruling until 2019 with a new state congress in session. Just recently N.F.L. Commissioner, Roger Goddell mentioned that he hopes that Congress will endeavor to maintain the integrity of the sports. It is believed that billions of dollars are currently wagered on N.F.L. games prior to the ruling.
