New York Now Allows Fantasy Sport Betting

August 3rd saw New York legislators enact a law that allows the Daily Fantasy Sports sites to be open for business and enabling New Yorkers opportunities to legally bet on DFS. Daily Fantasy Sports during 2015 and going into 2016 saw a lt of turmoil in New York which has been at epicenter of this issue. So many legal issues experienced by FanDuel and DraftKings which started when Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, issued a cease-and-desist order during November that eventually expanded all over the country. One of the biggest markets is New York for paid-entry DFS, That means New York allowing DFS sites is a great deal especially as its well ahead of the NFL season. Temporary permits were issued on August 22nd for companies, such as, DraftKings, FanDuel and other sites, which makes it legal for these sites to operate in NY.
