MGM Resorts Plans To Make Its Luxury Comforts Felt In The Online Gaming Scene

MGM Resorts, the lavish upscale hotel and luxury resort giant, will enter into the online gambling sphere, later this year. MGM will join a burgeoning presence in New Jersey's crowded and surging, online gaming industry. The move is made possible thanks in part with its partnership with GVC Holdings PLC, a worldwide leader in sports books as well as online gaming providers. GVC has its headquarters on the Isle Of Mann island. The games will be under MGM's playMGM brand, which plans to have over 300 games, to be available for both desktop and mobile users, to go along with several lively poker tournaments.

To oversee this venture, the playMGM brand will be licensed under Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, a fully owned subsidiary of MGM. If all goes well, the Borgata brand will hopefully return to prominence in New Jersey's online gaming scene. And if that goes well, MGM plans to expand to other online gambling sectors in the United States.
